On Wednesday I told you to keep New Year’s Eve simple, nothing fancy or hard to do, just another fun idea to bring love and laughter in your relationship.

You should already have these items on hand but if you don’t you still have the weekend to pick it up:

• Black Lingerie
• Candles
• Romantic Music
• Champagne or Sparkling Cider
• Blank New Year’s Card

For dinner, order Chinese or fix something special. We usually grill a couple of lobsters along with salad and bread. This year we are doing something different. Larry is cooking a small Prime Rib Roast. YUM! A baked potato and vegetable should round out the menu nicely, as for drinks Champagne to bring in the New Year.

Once you have decided what to do for dinner you will want to have your New Year’s Eve card ready with a note handwritten in it to give to your sweetheart in the morning on Dec 31st.

“Tonight I want to light the candles, turn on the music, drink a little Champagne with you and bring in the New Year making love to you all night long.”

May 2013 bring you and your sweetheart lots of love and laughter all year long.

New Year’s Eve is tomorrow night! Do you have plans to go out with friends or are you staying in like we are. We have done the parties and out to dinner with friends but have discovered we enjoy ringing in the New Year at home making a romantic dinner and eating it in front of the fireplace.

Our dinner typically is lobster, salad, French bread and a good bottle of local wine. If you are planning on staying home but don’t want to cook then order Chinese take out and enjoy eating it with chopsticks right out of the box together in front of the fireplace.

Do you want to have a sexy New Year’s evening after your party plans or your private dinner? When you get home or after dinner surprise your sweetheart with a note you have written that says:

“Happy New Year’s sweetheart! Pop the top, light the candles and we will start this New Year’s off with a big bang!”

Grab your candles, your favorite music and a bottle of bubbly and have a very romantic New Year’s Eve!
